"We must get rid of the life we planned so as to have the life that is waiting for us."

-Joseph Campbell

My personal belief is that ritual is very powerful regardless of the exact tools you employ. I'm not saying you shouldn't study or care about procedure; just don't get so dogmatic or hung up in the details that you fail to start or wind up blunting your efforts with complicated rules. The intent is what counts the most; intuition, experience and personal taste will help guide the rest. Many people use a "shotgun approach" or multiple items at the same cleansing, but what is important is the the fact that you do something.

"I won't do commercials either.  I don't want to sell anything. As an actor, it's tricky. You have this platform and it has to do with your face, your charisma.

It's tricky when you endorse something because people are liable to believe you. Be careful."

-Christopher Walken

Rachel: So Pheebs, what do you want for your birthday?

Phoebe: Well, what I really want is for my mom to be alive and enjoy it with me.

Rachel: Okaaay... Let me put it this way: Anything from Crabtree and Evelyn?

Phoebe: Ooh! Bath salts would be nice!
